IDOLATRY: Drugging of the Nations

Visionary artists, William Thomas Thompson and Norbert H. Kox, both known internationally for their Apocalyptic art, have worked together on an individual canvas, 9.5 ft. x 7 ft., to create a powerful indictment of the apostate universal church system and the traditions of men. It is the first collaborative effort for either of these artists. The piece titled "Idolatry: The drugging of the nations", is a warning against the dangers of religious addiction.
According to Webster, addiction is the state of being given up or over to, as a constant practice; habitual devotion to. Breaking an addiction sometimes produces severe withdrawal symptoms, as in the case of many drugs. Withdrawal means pain. Thus many addicts choose to remain addicted to avoid the pains of withdrawal. Religious addiction, like any addiction, renders the user to a state of irrational behavior. The religious addict clings to false doctrine with a belligerent pride equivalent to that of the drunken alcoholic, refusing to acknowledge his intoxication. He is unwilling to let go of that which is making him feel good even if the security it provides is based on a falsehood. When the truth does not fit organized religion it is rejected by the religious.
This painting is referenced from Revelation 18:23, where the King James translation of "sorceries" comes from the Greek word pharmakia, literally "drugging", symbolically "idolatry". The piece warns against the deceptions of false teachers. It also points out the use of counterfeit images as modern-day idol worship. It is a depiction of and warning against the idolatry that is drugging the end time church, resulting in "religious" addiction, bondage, and death.
Some of the common fatal mistakes are spelled out specifically on the gravestones in the pattern of the Earth Mother’s blue robe: idolatry, harlotry, adultery, necromancy/seance, Sabbath breaking, lies, stealing, witchcraft, false witness, hatred, murder, coveting/envy, haughtiness/pride, swearing/cursing, drunkenness/drugs/alcohol, carnal lust, abortions, falsifying Yahweh’s name, strife, greed, and self-righteousness.
The main idolatry gripping the world and the church today is the love of money. Scripture says, “The love of money is the root of all evil” (1 Timothy 6: 10). This is symbolized in the golden-jeweled crown from which the churches are sprouting. On the crown is the word NOITROBA, which is “abortion” spelled in reverse. The Hebrew word for abortion also means “to fall” or “fallen down”, which describes the state of the modern so-called Christian Church. The bloody paper dolls represent the Slaughter of the Innocents, in three ways: 1- Abortion of the unborn; 2- Victims of the physical molestation and sexual abuse by a perverted clergy; 3- Spiritual desolation and destruction due to falsehoods presented as truths by a blinded hierarchy. Scripture says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4: 6).
The churches on the crown represent the conglomerate one world church system that is to introduce Antichrist for acceptance in the last days.
Kox and Thompson, having both emerged from the clutches of religious addiction, warn against the deceptions of false teachers. Kox came out of a Catholic background, Thompson from the Protestant. Both have had Pentecostal experiences. Their combined diversity of religious knowledge contributes to a balance in identifying the false doctrines of the modern church, with scripture based facts. They identify false religious beliefs and the use of counterfeit images as modern-day idol worship.
The 1940 "Head of Christ", by Warner Sallman, is targeted as a counterfeit Christ. The Greek word anti means "instead of", or "in place of", as well as "opposed to." The Antichrist described in the Bible is an imitation capable of deceiving even the very elect (Matthew 24:23-25; Mark 13:21-23). The elect spoken of are the followers of Christ.
The Sallman image is being correlated to the "idol" shepherd in Zechariah 11:17, with the sword upon his right eye, symbolic of lack of truth. It also symbolizes the head of the Beast (Anti-Christ) that had the wound by the sword but did live (Revelation 13:3). Scripture foretold the people would create an icon of this Antichrist and worship it (Revelation 13:14-18).
In this painting the seven churches and ten steeples symbolize the seven-headed ten-horned beast of the revelatory visions of the apostle John. He sounds the warning, Come out of her and be not partakers of her sins (mistakes). The New Testament word "church" comes from the Greek ekklesia, meaning "called out." The Scriptural church does not refer to a building. It refers to the people who are called out of spiritual bondage into the freedom of truth (principle, John 8:31-32).
This painting also presents historical and etymological references to the name of Jesus being the result of a gradual progression in the English Language, from the Biblical name of Iesu (Yesu: yay-soo): A change which took effect in the 18th century. The gist of the whole piece is to entice the viewer to question traditions and inherited beliefs while embarking on an active search for and investigation of truth. Look to the word of God, not the traditions of men. Pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and search for truth in the Scriptures: "Seek and ye shall find".
These two seasoned visionary artists hope that the revelations in this work will shake the world (or at least a small part of it) from its complacency, to question traditions and inherited beliefs while embarking on an active search for and investigation of truth. They see the true path of spiritual enlightenment as an individual road which must be navigated with the utmost of care, to avoid the pitfalls and disasters associated with the herd-mentality that leads unsuspecting sheep hurdling headlong into the pit (grave) directly on the heels of their blind religious leaders.
This painting should not be perceived as a threat to the true church. That which is true will not be harmed. When all the rotten bark is chipped away and the dead branches are broken off and cast into the fire, that which remains will be healthier and stronger. Sometimes pain is involved in the healing process. Perhaps you can face the temporary discomforts of withdrawal when you realize the only alternative is death.

Control Towers: Cleopatra's
Needles
This painting has its roots deep in our history, revealing frightening truths about our journey from Egypt to the Promised Land, then and now. The Sea Beast is rising up, revealing itself with its tentacles around the "great city" (or cities) of London and New York. Cleopatra's Needles were obviously among the first obelisks in the world, created in Egypt during the 400 years of Israel's captivity.
"Putting our heads together on this one seemed to be a natural, as I continued to talk about the great city because it was on my heart and mind, and I could not help but see a bridge across the Atlantic. During the last three months (till December 2002) I have been taken into the dark halls of the Secret Orders in my spirit and I have recorded what is revealed. I was unfamiliar with the needles, but Norbert stated that he wanted to see the one on the Thames River in London, and we did see it (November 26, 2002) but only after we painted it and named the painting the Control Towers of the world and its economy." (WTT).
The all-seeing eye is a symbol of the Illuminati. It represents our dollar bill and the power behind it. The triangular pyramid symbol of freemasonry represents half of the so-called Star of David. Superimpose upon it another upside-down pyramid, and you have the full star. When Solomon's Seal, the six-pointed Star of Moloch, is overlaid upon the pyramid on the back side of the Great Seal of The United States (seen on the one dollar bill) the all-seeing Eye of Satan fills the top point (triangle) the position of the chief cornerstone. The other five points each touch a letter within the surrounding slogans. The five letters that are pointed to are M-A-S-O-N. The Seal of Solomon is used as a hexagram in Masonic (Freemason) rituals, and the "All-seeing Eye" appears upon their ritual aprons.
The Masonic fraternity does indirectly and unintentionally confirm the migration of the children of Israel to the British Isles and eventually to the United States from the 10 lost tribes. Lines and angles of the pyramid point to specific letters that when assembled spell Mason. The strangle grip this beast has on the great cities will eventually choke the life out of them as the Devil seeks his due. This painting in itself is a warning to all living and free people of intelligence. Beware of those masquerading as good and godly, if they are receiving their power from the beast. Their system discriminates and favors its secret membership, who have committed their lives to Satan through these demonic vows and oaths.
"Now that this secret veil is being lifted I can see the evil beast with 7 heads and 10 horns controlling us (U.S.) as it has through the ages. I now see its control in my childhood days, with invisible chains that kept us bound and that predetermined all important appointments, that favored certain individuals while others suffered and starved. This beast rules the world of politics and money. This beast rules the world of government and law. This beast gets its power from Satan the Devil as described in the Book of Revelation Chapter 13. The flaming horns of the beast fuel it, and it strikes the symbolic towers, like lightning. The top of the pyramid represents the Egyptian pagan doctrine of the Masonic Temple of worship, of Osiris the sun god master of all the fraternal orders of the world, controlling our currency and every important thing going on in America, England and every branch of the true Israelite people." (WTT).
The pyramid on the original seal was actually a step-pyramid, ziggurat (viz. Tower of Babel). It's steps represent the secret societies and religions of man. The top of the pyramid is the highest, most secret position, secret to all the lower levels, secretly passing down its dictates. The only thing higher in this demonic chain of command is Satan himself, symbolized in the all-seeing eye, the counterfeit capstone, hovering above the pyramid tower, showering its false light upon all the building blocks (initiates) below.
"David Davidson wrote in his book, Miracles of History, that a 'pyramidion is the apex stone of a pyramid at the top of a column'. Is it the Headstone and Chief Cornerstone rejected by the builders and symbolized, as he suggests, by two obelisks called 'Cleopatra's Needles'? One of these needles stands on the Thames Embankment, London, and the other in Central Park, New York." (THE MYSTERY OF CLEOPATRA'S NEEDLES, by Evelyn Janes)
In our painting of the Control Towers lightening bolts are emanating from the Illuminati symbol, the all-seeing eye. The lightening symbolizes a force connecting the towers, Cleopatra's Needles, to span the Atlantic Ocean and form a bridge between the two Harlots: The 666-Cities of New York and London represent the entire English-speaking world, which has descended from Ephraim and Manasseh, Egypto-Israel, the half-Egyptian sons of Joseph. In the late 1800's there was a push for the English to collect and display Egyptian art and artifacts. The history books refer to it as "Egyptianization." Egyptian occult symbols, especially the obelisk, permeate our modern culture.
Cleopatra's Needles are described in the World Book as two great stone pillars from Egypt called obelisks. The obelisks of red granite were cut from a single piece of stone and engraved with picture writing called hieroglyphics. These pillars bear the names of two Egyptian kings, Ramesses and Thutmose III. Some of the obelisks stood before the ancient temple of the sun at Heliopolis, where they were originally erected by Thutmose III. The Romans moved a pair to Alexandria in 14 B.C. It was at this point the title Cleopatra's Needles became attached to them.
In the Bible Heliopolis is called the City of On (the City of the Sun). The grandfather of Ephraim and Manasseh, from which we are descended, was the great high priest of Ra at the ancient Temple of the Sun, in the city of On. When Ephraim and Manasseh visited their grandfather they probably stood between the two pillars as he patted them on the head. Is it a coincidence that the U.K. (Ephraim) and the U.S. (Manasseh) are now in possession of these ancient obelisks which confirm their Egypto-Israel heritage?
The twin obelisks were presented to the United States and Great Britain during the 1800's. One stands in Central Park in New York City and one on the bank of the Thames River in London. The one in York City stands 69 ft. high and, it is 7 1/2 feet at the base, and weighs 200 tons (London's is almost identical). "Can we be freed from this monster that enslaves us to our eternal damnation? I pray that God will enlighten us to the truth because our wisdom and righteousness is as filthy rags." (WTT).
The Scripture verses, which we have referenced to this painting, are ones that speak about the apocalyptic beast by name as Leviathan. According to Strong's, the Hebrew word Leviathan, Livyathan, means a serpent or dragon and was a symbol of Babylon (#3882). It is derived from lavah, which means to twine, and implies to UNITE (#3867).
Many Bible Scholars see the United States (Manasseh) and the United Kingdom (Ephraim) as the end time Babylon Harlot(s), fulfilling the Biblical descriptions of Secret (Mystery) Babylon in prophecy. As such, Leviathan is a fitting symbol to tie the obelisks of New York and London in a Babylonian Union. Revelation says one beast head was wounded to death by the sword of Yahweh, but it was revived (Revelation 13:3). It is the eighth, but is of the seven; it was and is not, but shall arise from the abyss and shall go into perdition, i.e. destruction (Revelation 17:8-11).

Now is Come Salvation: Bride
of Christ
This is our third combined expression of the Apocalyptic message. The painting is 7 feet wide by 10.5 feet tall, acrylic paint on 12 oz canvas. It is based on the fulfillment of prophecy from Genesis to Revelation, culminating with the glory of the Lamb of God radiating down to the people on earth, as it is renewed, when Christ comes to rule on the new earth. The Woman Israel is with child begging to be delivered (Revelation Chapter 12). She is standing on the moon and clothed in the sun, with 12 stars in her crown. Now, the woman Israel is delivered. The Lamb of God represents Christ in this symbolic revelation of the plan of salvation. This painting is all glorious. It reveals the woman as true Israel and not as the Blessed Virgin Mary depicted by the Catholic Church. It is believed that the 12 stars represent the 12 tribes of true Israel. We show the crown as twelve flames, flaming tongues of the Holy Spirit rising up to the stars. This painting advances the prophecy from then until now and reveals its ultimate plan.
The Scriptures of the Book of Revelation are referenced, from Chapter 12 through the entire book, of the glorious plan of salvation available to everyone in the world today and through ages.
The Bride of Christ is revealed, and also the symbolic lamb (born from above) giving its light which becomes water, representing the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. This life-giving essence engulfs the sea of people that are coming to receive life, breath, joy and peace, throughout all eternity. We trust that this painting will be the key link to connect people living today with the truth, and a real relationship with God, through the Messiah and Christ from above. We hope that this painting will magnify the true and living God and dispel all forms idolatry in the world.
Various Hebrew writings appear in the painting, including the smallest of Hebrew characters, which is Yahweh's initial and means God. The gold in the woman's dress represents the sun, and the rainbow that extends from her out stretched hands completes the circle of believers living, trusting and serving the Lord (Yahweh) God. We believe this painting will witness to people over the entire living world. The scripture references encourage people to read for themselves and understand the Book of Revelation.
The cycle of life is nearly completed and we are about to see the glory of God for ourselves. The miracle of creation is being revealed and God's plan is being completed for his people.
"And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a women clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head the crown of 12 stars: And she being with child cried prevailing in birth and pain to be delivered" (Revelation 12: 1-2).
" And I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God . And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, behold I make all things new, and he said unto me, write: for these words are true and faithful. And He said unto me, it is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son" (Revelation 21: 1-7).
